Mat & Lynne Welcome You
Taken over in 2008 by locally renowned chef Mat Tucker and wife Lynne, The Lamb Inn at Crawley provides a picturesque venue for fine day outdoor dining, an ideal ‘halfway house for one of the many stunning circular walks or that intimate dining experience for two. A tasteful refurbishment of this lovely 18th century Inn provides modern, comfortable surroundings and original timber beams, a traditional oak bar and inglenook fireplace. Inspired seasonal menus are to be found here using locally sourced produce providing an opportunity to sample a mouth-watering choice of both British and Continental Cuisine such as the popular Chicken Saltimboca or the sumptuous Slow Roasted Welsh Half Shoulder of Lamb. Diners will also find a range of high quality, sensibly priced wines and traditional cask ales brewed at the local Wychwood Brewery.
Recently nominated for the Morning Advertisers’ Best Newcomer and Best Food of the Year Awards and featured in Helen Peacocke’s “Paws Under the Table” (a guide to great dog-friendly Cotswold Inns).
